Redundant HD, HDR or UHD-SNG Service

Newslive is providing high powered redundant satellite trucks (SNG) all over Western Europe since 2006.
We are specialized in 1+1 HD, SDR or HDR sports uplinks for major broadcasters in Belgium and France.

Our main trucks are EBU compliant and we can fit more encoders or an ASI mux.
With our NTT HEVC encoders we can do a 4 channel redundant mux of your HD, SDR or HDR content.

Our uplink trucks are all 1+1 redundant with high power and big dishes to make sure we can work in most weather conditions.
We can do multiple paths 1080i or 1080p uplinks on all major satellites to Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa.
We can also do 16APSK, DVBS2X and HEVC to save bandwidth or maximize picture quality for your fiber back up.

To offer higher power, during increasingly bad weather in Europe, Newslive has decided to build a truck with a 2.4 meter antenna (#HOL324).
This truck can phase combine its 2x 400 Watt amplifiers to about 750 Watt output in heavy weather conditions.
HOL324 is also equipped with the latest technology to decrease bandwidth use or increase picture quality.
A redundant NTT HC32000E HEVC Encoder. These encoders can offer your standard 1080i HD feed, but also 1080p, HDR or Ultra HD. But also a redundant 4 channel mux, if there’s ever a need to backhaul a number of feeds. All protected with BISS-CA encryption.
All channels on a 1+1 feed can have 32 audio channels with Dolby-E Passthrough. For example, this encoder, together with DVBS2X and 16APSK modulation offers a HD channel on 4.5 MHz, instead of the standard 9 MHz, using 8PSK and DVBS2X
This DSNG also complies within IEC 60364-7-717 regulations for UEFA football jobs.

Newslive is based in the south of The Netherlands (Holland) and also serves Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and France.

Services

SNG

Both our trucks are at least 1+1 redundant.
Multi-path or an ASI mux for sports feeds,
8PSK and 16APSK modulation possible.

HOL322 does your standard DVBS2 and BISS-1.
HOL324  also does basically everything:DVBS2, DVBS2X, BISS-1 and BISS-CA. It’s possible to do 1080P, SDR HDR and Ultra HD and it has a high gain 2.4 meter antenna (with phase combiner to do 750 Watt), to give you just that extra power to push through these increasing heavy rain showers.
HOL324 also complies to the IEC 60364-7-717 power regulations that are mandatory for more and more sports events, like the Champions League.

We can also supply ASI outputs or extra encoders for a fiber back up.
With a 1+1 or 2+1 configuration you are always sure of a connection.
Most of our work is done in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg. But we can always travel a further for longer events.
